Black and White

B&W film photography has challenged me in a way that color photography doesn’t. Color allows an image to stand out; to catch the viewers eye. By removing this important aspect of photography, the photographer has to carefully pick their subject and use their eye and skill to captivate the reader. Nearly everyone has worked with black and white film if they have every taken a photography class, but I wanted to challenge myself and learn more about what I can do with the medium.
